Lampard reveals why he is proud to be the Chelsea manager and sends an ‘Incredible’ message to Chelsea fans

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has admitted that he’s pleased with the way Chelsea have played their part since the Covid-19 pandemic shook the UK.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich made the Millennium Hotel available to NHS staff, while the men’s squad also made a sizeable donation to the Chelsea Foundation in March to provide support to local hospitals.

The club has also been involved in online tutorials for young fans, raising of awareness and funds for the domestic abuse charity Refuge, and also support to elderly Blues supporters.

Lampard has admitted his pride at being associated with a club that has done this much.

“I am very proud to be manager of this club with the way Chelsea have handled it,” said Lampard.

“They were very quick to respond to help with the hotel. There is a lot more work they are doing with the Foundation, with link-ups, getting in touch with fans, putting on tutorials with some of the Academy coaches. There are a lot of people at Chelsea who have really stood up and done a lot of good work.”
