Lampard told £60 million striker is ‘good enough’ to make Stamford Bridge move

Celtic’s French striker and Chelsea target Odsonne Edouard has been hailed as the complete package and good enough for ANY Premier League team.

Despite the fact there is no football right now because of the cornavirus outbreak, that has not stopped speculation in the media suggesting that Chelsea will look to do alot of summer business in order to get their squad right for the star of next season..

And that has led to many reports in the media which has suggested that they are interested in a £60 million move to try and acquire the services of Edouard, who is making a real name for himself over in the Scottish Leagues with some outstanding performances.

And now Rangers legend and Sky Sports pundit Kris Boyd believes that there will be alot of interest in the 22-years olds signature during the summer transfer window, as he is good enough to play for any Premier League side. Sky Sports pundit Boyd said: “He’s the outstanding player in the league – a class apart.

“There’s talk of him going to a mid-table team in England but he should just cut them out and go straight to the top with any of the big guns.

“He’s got everything. He glides past defenders as if they are not there. He’s got skill, although perhaps one criticism can be his finishing, he tries to place everything in the corners. “He’s not from the same finishing school as someone like [Celtic’s Scotland forward] Leigh Griffiths but in terms of the all round package, he’s the best player in Scotland.”

Look, Edoouard has had a brilliant season for Celtic this year and is ready to make the move to the Premier League, for the right price of course. But maybe he is not ready to make that step and play for a big club like Chelsea?

Chelsea need to spend money so it will be very interesting to see just whom Frank Lampard managed to acquire when the long transfer window opens up.
