Latest Chelsea’s injury update ahead of Premier League resumption

A number of Chelsea players were out injured before the season was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Christian Pulisic hadn’t played a game since New Year’s Day fixture against Brighton, Ruben Loftus-Cheek hasn’t featured for the senior team this season, Tammy Abraham and Callum Hudson-Odoi were also out injured, as well as N’Golo Kante who has had an injury ravaged season.

After two months of inactivity, the players have now resumed training, with the Premier League set to resume in June.

The Athletic’s Liam Twomey has given updates on the state of the Chelsea players. The report claims that Hudson-Odoi, Pulisic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are all training regularly with the rest of the squad in the first phase of Chelsea’s group training while Kante is also in good physical condition.

Lampard will have a full squad to choose from, apart from Kante, who has fears of resuming due to the coronavirus.
