Leave or Stay: Lampard makes transfer decision on Hudson-Odoi after ‘massive’ signings

Chelsea have made massive signings so far this season and the blues are looking to offload some players as well.

However, According to 90min, Chelsea have informed winger Callum Hudson-Odoi that he could be loaned out this season after the Blues secured the signing of Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen.

Hudson-Odoi is set to struggle to get game time this season at Chelsea with the arrival of several new faces, and Chelsea boss Frank Lampard feels a temporary move will help his development.

This summer, Lampard has signed Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech, all of whom can play in Hudson-Odoi’s position and will be expecting regular starts.

Hudson-Odoi started just 7 Premier League games last season and is expected to even struggle for game time this season following the arrivals of Havertz, Werner and Ziyech.

Lampard reportedly believes game time is necessary to help Hudson-Odoi realise his potential and is prepared to let the winger leave the club on loan this summer if a suitable bid is received.
