Chelsea have been linked with a move for Victor Osimhen this summer, But the Blues may have to act quickly if they are interested in signing him Or, they may have already got the jump on their rivals for his signature.
According to Telefoot in France, Lille have received an offer of €85million (£75million) for him from an unnamed Premier League club for Osimhen.
It is not common knowledge which club it is yet, but if the reports are to be believed it would be quite the statement of intent given the coronavirus pandemic that is putting a real strain on clubs’ finances.
Osimhen is a 21-year-old striker who plies his trade for Lille in the French Ligue Un.
And he will be hot property in the summer transfer window after notching 17 goals in 35 appearances for the French team this season in what has truly been a breakthrough campaign.
The likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham, as well as the Blues, are all reported admirers of the young Nigerian, of whom much was expected a couple of years ago.
