Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi would reportedly like to see N’Golo Kante move to the Nou Camp this summer.
Messi experienced the quality that Kante has in his locker first-hand during the first-leg of our Champions League tie with Barcelona last season. Unfortunately, the world’s best player was on another level in the second-leg. No player on the planet. can deal with him when he’s in the mood.
Kante was excellent once again in putting the shackles on Messi during France’s 4-3 victory over Argentina in the World Cup on Saturday. The Frenchman has been one of the players of the tournament so far, and this was arguably his best performance of the lot.
Messi will undoubtedly have been impressed. According to Don Balon, who are known for publishing unfounded claims, the five-time Ballon D’Or winner wants to see Kante sign for Barcelona this summer. The Chelsea midfielder is believed to be the ideal man to improve Barca in the middle of the park.
We have no doubt that Barcelona would like to sign Kante. Any team on the planet would be lucky to have him at their disposal. However, we have learnt over the years to take any Don Balon claims with a pinch of salt.
