Mauricio Pochettino ‘warning’ finally ends for Frank Lampard

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard will feel a bit more secure knowing that former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is no longer in the market.

The former Tottenham gaffer has been without a job since he was sacked by Tottenham, and the likes of Frank Lampard and Olé Gunnar Solskjaer have been unduly put under unnecessary pressure whenever results go against them, due to his availability, with the media brandishing the Argentine as a more capable boss.

French champions Paris Saint-Germain have sacked manager Thomas Tuchel, with former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino set to replace him, reports confirm.

Tuchel was relieved of his duties, as the French champions have already lost four matches in the Ligue 1 this season and enter the winter break in third position in the table, a point behind Lyon and Lille.

Pochettino spent two years of his playing career at PSG, where he won the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 2001.

Pochettino has been without a job since he was sacked by Tottenham in November. The media will now give Chelsea manager Frank Lampard some space to breath, with the Argentine now with French duties.
