Maurizio Sarri trying to steal Chelsea transfer target

Former Chelsea manger and Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri set to hijack Chelsea transfer target Moussa Dembele, According to Calcio Mercato.

However, the Blues have an interest in the Lyon star as Frank Lampard looks to bolster his attacking options for the second half of the season.

Meanwhile Juventus, who are involved in a tight title race in Serie A with Inter Milan, are now set to bid for the 23-year-old, according to Calcio Mercato.

Lyon are due to face Juventus in the last 16 of the Champions League and due to new rules in the competition, he would not be cup-tied against them if he did move to Italy.

Lampard is free to spend in January after Chelsea’s transfer ban was on an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Chelsea target Moussa Dembele has scored 11 goals in 26 games in all competitions for Lyon, who are in the semi-final of the French League Cup but languishing in 12th in Ligue 1.

More-so the blues are still in the race to sign the Lyon striker as he has receive so many offers from different clubs now, hopefully he will be a blues as soon as possible.
