‘Maybe, I’ll come back one day’: Ex-Chelsea star hints at potential Stamford Bridge returns

Ex-Chelsea winger Jeremie Boga has hinted that he does not rule out his return to Stamford Bridge at some point in the future.

However, The 23-year-old has been one of the best player for Sassuolo this seaosn, and he admits that it would’ve been difficult for him to play as regularly for the Blues had he stayed.

“When I was there, it was Willian, Hazard, Pedro,” Boga told The Athletic. “When Mourinho was there, it was Salah.

“There were a lot of good wingers. For me, it has always been if I can’t play, then I will try to go on loan or try to go somewhere to improve, then maybe come back one day.

“I think our generation was one of the best Chelsea ever had,” the Ivorian recalled his days at the Chelsea Academy.

“We had so many talented players. It was not easy but every weekend, we were so used to winning 2-0 or 3-0.”

Boga has netted 8 goals and 4 assists in 24 Serie A appearances this season so far, with his red-hot form reportedly attracting interest from Tottenham, Valencia and Borussia Dortmund.
