Midfielder opens up and officially tells Lampard ‘my dream is to play for Chelsea’ ahead of summer move

FC Ural midfielder Petrus Boumal has opened up and stated that he would love to play for Chelsea. Chelsea have been in the transfer headlines alot over the past few weeks, despite the fact that there has been no football going on, as Frank Lampard knows that he needs to spend some serious money in the summer.

A new stopper is reportedly wanted at the club, as Kepa has lost of confidence of Lampard, a new defender is needed to shore up the defence, a midfielder will be needed if Willian leaves the club and a new striker should be signed in order to add a bit more goals to the side.

Chelsea have been linked with a number of possible deals that would see some top-class players make that move to Stamford Bridge, but one player that has not been linked with a move to the club is that of Boumal.

But despite the fact that Chelsea re not interested in trying to sign him this summer, Cameroon star Boumal is dreaming of idolising Blues legends Claude Makelele and Michael Essien and playing at Chelsea.

The 27-year-old has also revealed interest from Everton, Fulham and Bordeaux, as his current deal is set to expire with the Russians and he is eyeing up an early summer transfer move.

He said on the SUN: “My dream club is Chelsea.

“Makelele and Essien are two players I really loved. I loved watching their style of play, how they move, how they tackle and how they attack the ball. “They maintained the balance between attackers and defenders. They played for Chelsea and since they played there, I really loved Chelsea.”

Look, Boumal may be a free agent, but Chelsea are not interested right now and it would be better off speaking about clubs that are interested and would be prepared to offer him a contract. Everton, Fulham and Bordeaux don’t want to hear that they are second choice.
