According to the Daily Mirror, Leicester City defender Ben Chilwell is said to be interested in a move to Chelsea this summer.
The English defender has been heavily linked as a priority target for the West London club this season, although the 23-year-old has not officially asked to depart the Foxes at this time
Chilwell’s current contract at Leicester runs until 2024 and with the left-back being a first-choice player for Brendan Rodgers’ side, the Foxes are in no rush to let him leave.
The report goes on to add that Frank Lampard is quite eager for this move to happen after the transfer ban in the summer halted the manager’s transfer plans.
However, the deal might be completed in coming weeks according to reports.
