N’Golo Kante offered himself to Barcelona but Quique Setien rejected the player and fell out

The Barcelona board has considered continuing their quest for the Champions League and Spanish league next season with Quique Setien and Lionel Messi as their captain. The former Betico manager is working very closely with the players and the fitness department to ensure that all players are in touch with their fitness regime to maintain their conditioning during this period of self-isolation.

Quique Setien has had to tackle several issues at the club including a serious lack of squad depth along with several players doubting the manager’s capability. Club captain Lionel Messi is one of the players who does not fully understand the motives of the manager after he turned down the Captain’s request to sign a star from the Premier League.

The 2018 World Cup winner from Frank Lampard’s Chelsea has offered himself to Barcelona for the upcoming summer market, according to Don Balon. N’Golo Kante went from playing in the second division of France to winning the World Cup for France and he now believes that his tenure at the Blues has come to an end. At the age of 28, the former Leicester City defensive midfielder is open for challenges outside England.

Lionel Messi believes that the Chelsea man would fit like a glove in the squad and has enough experience along with quality to dominate the midfield.

Josep Maria Bartomeu and his team were keen on bringing in the French midfielder until Quique Setien rejected the player as he still has his faith in the veteran defensive midfielder, Sergio Busquets. The Blaugrana have lost a golden opportunity to sign the player who previously had no intention of leaving England.

Several heavyweights in the locker room have serious doubts about whether their manager is guiding the club in the right direction with his controversial vision. N’Golo Kante has been ruled out for good, would there be any more additions to the list of player’s that the Cantabrian axed?.
