Ashley Cole has officially announced that he returns to Chelsea as a coach to work at the Blues Academy.
The former Blues defender will help develop Chelsea U-15 team.
Cole has made this announcement acting as a guest of UEFA for the Europa League draw in Monaco today.
He said: “I’ve worked under some great managers, took a lot from them so I will go back to Chelsea and work with their under-15s and see where it goes from there.”
Ashley Cole has recently officially confirmed his retirement from professional football. It happened also live – on Sky Sports TV.
He was in the studio as a pundit for the build-up to Chelsea’s Premier League home clash with Leicester City when he delivered the news.
Now both Ashley and Joe Cole will be working with the Chelsea youth!
