OFFICIAL: Chelsea baller Reece James signs new long-term contract with Chelsea

Chelsea baller Reece James has signed a new long term contract with Chelsea.

The right back was the last piece of the puzzle in terms of locking down this generation of academy stars to long term deals, and he’s finally joined his peers like Callum Hudson-Odoi, Tammy Abraham Fikayo Tomori and Mason Mount in putting pen to paper on a new deal.

His progress this season was been superb despite the injury that killed his preseason. He’s currently starting in Frank Lampard’s first XI and showing the amazing ability we’ve known about for a while on the world stage.

He’s now locked in until 2025, the club showing their vision for the future once again by securing their brightest talents.

He can be the cornerstone of this team for years to come.

This contract is hopefully the first of many, and something will have gone sadly wrong if Reece doesn’t rack up hundreds of appearances for Chelsea.
