Perfect Abraham partner found as Chelsea make contact about signing in-demand Ligue 1 hitman

Chelsea have reportedly made contact in a bid to sign talented Amiens star Serhou Guirassy in the summer transfer window.

Despite the Corona virus putting a hold to the Premier League season and despite the fact that the transfer window is still months away, there has been alot of speculation in the media about possible arrivals to Stamford Bridge, with a striker on the agenda.

It is no secret that Frank Lampard is keen to improve this side with some big time signings, and reports in the media have suggested he will indeed get the £200 million it will take to sign some top-class, big-time names players in the summer, with a striker on the list

Tammy Abraham is a man that will lead the club into the next generation, but he will need help next season, especially with all the reports suggesting that both Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi will be leaving the club.

Le 10 Sport now suggests that Chelsea are interested in Guirassy and have already made contact about a possible £17 million deal, while both Tottenham and West Ham are also interested in a bargain deal. Amiens made Guirassy’s move permanent midway through last season and the 24-year-old has caught the eye in Ligue 1 this term, racking up nine goals and one assist before the coronavirus crisis halted French football.

And Guirassy’s outstanding performances have not gone unnoticed across the channel, with some of the biggest clubs in Europe all keeping a close eye on his development, which has been haltered by the coronavirus pandemic

The young man has certainly been impressing this season and scouts have probably caught him on his good days, but his numbers are not that impressive and Chelsea need to add a striker to the side that will score 20 even 30 goals a season. Guirassy is a man that scores too infrequently, and that is not what Chelsea need if they are to get back into the habit of winning trophies is it?
