Pictured with the new boss! Lampard wraps up second summer signing ‘as free kick expert’ officially agrees summer move to Chelsea

Reports have emerged which have revealed Chelsea are set to sign rising Finland star Jimi Tauriainen from HJK Helsinki.

Frank Lampard may be seeing his brilliantly gifted young Chelsea side fight for the right to finish inside the top four spots and gain Champions League football for next season, but there is still work behind the scenes to try and get some early transfer deals done for the summer.

The Blues already got the whole of Europe talking just after the January window after they officially wrapped up a transfer deal for the world class winger Hakim Ziyech, who will arrive when the transfer window opens up for a reported £37 million fee, and it now seems that Lampard has agreed his second deal for the club with the signing of Tauriainen.

The son of former Finland international Pasi Taurianen, he has been on the radar of Europe’s top clubs for months, but it was Chelsea who managed to secure a transfer deal and Tauriainen, who has just turned 16, will join the Blues in the summer on a three-year contract

A strong, fast winger who is good with the ball and a free kick expert, he is tipped for a bright future, and known for having a good attitude and work rate, he has already scored four goals in six games for Finland Under 16s.

Look, He may be a signing for the future and a player that may not even get the chance to get inside the top ranks of the Chelsea side, But it shows that the brightest talents are eager to work under Lampard now that they know they could be given a chance in the Blues first-team. Will he make it to the top, who knows. But with Lampard in chance he may get the chance to play in a Blues shirt one day.
