Premier League Winger Wants To Sign For Chelsea, Prepared To Submit Transfer Request

Palace winger Wilfried Zaha has reportedly set his sights on a move to Stamford Bridge.

The probability of Chelsea recruiting a winger this summer is, at the time of writing, extremely slim.

We appear to have succeeded in our efforts to keep hold of both Eden Hazard and Willian, as well as tieing Pedro down to a one-year contract extension.

Callum Hudson-Odoi’s emergence during pre-season has also increased our options down the left-flank. Signing another winger would only further limit his opportunities.

If there is an expected development on the futures of either Hazard or Willian’s respective futures as Chelsea players, they will need to be replaced.

Zaha provides a viable option. The Mirror that he wants to sign for Chelsea and will look to make that happen between now and the end of the window.

The report claims that Palace have tabled a £125K-a-week contract offer, one which Zaha is prepared to reject and instead submit a transfer request.

It’s believed that the Eagles are holding out for an ‘irresistibly huge offer’. At this stage, we wouldn’t expect Chelsea to submit one.

What do you think, Blues? Should be make a move for Zaha?
