Real Madrid ‘expecting January offer’ from Chelsea to sign ‘dream signing’ for around £70 million

Reports from Spain have claimed that Real Madrid are expecting offers from the likes of Chelsea during the winter transfer window.

Everyone knows that Chelsea were unable to sign players during the summer transfer window as they have been banned until next summer, but that has not stopped speculation about whom the club could try and sign in the coming windows to help improve the side.

And there has been a lot of speculation in the media that Chelsea are still interested in a possible deal for the unhappy Isco, who is heavily tipped to leave the Bernabeu in the coming transfer windows having fallen down the pecking order under boss Zinedine Zidane.

Recent reports on the The TMW website have claimed that Madrid are stepping up their pursuit of Tottenham ace Christian Eriksen during the winter transfer window, meaning that they will need to make room for the departing Spurs star, who is out of contract at the end of the season.

Now according to reports on the AS website, Isco will not be seeking a move away from La Liga in the coming windows in order to win back his place in the Spanish National side, with the Premier League a destination that he is very much interested in.

And the reports goes on to say that Madrid feel that the likes of Chelsea see Isco as a dream signing, especially with all the reports suggesting that one of the clubs biggest players Willian could actually be leaving the club if he is not offered the new contract that he desires.

Look Chelsea have a very exciting team that will develop in the coming years, but they still need to add proven, top-level performers like Isco to the squad to challenge for more than a top four spot.

So if there is chance for Chelsea to make a move for Isco, even in January, then they should definitely make it as he would add some real class and quality to a midfield that is lacking in world class players.

And £70 million could be a decent price to pay for the young man.
