Real Madrid told Chelsea to pay £18million to sign star player in January

According to Spanish media outlet El Confidencial, Real Madrid want to sell Chelsea transfer target Isco in January.

The report claims the Spaniard could be available for as little as €20 million (£18m/$24m) in the new year, with his current contract due to expire in 2022.

Chelsea face competition for Isco from Premier League rivals Everton and Arsenal.

Meanwhile, Isco recently took a swipe at Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane, claiming that he is being ostracised by the Frenchman.

“If he has to take me off, he takes me off in the 50th or 60th minute of the game. Sometimes even at half-time,” Isco told Movistar+’s ‘El Partidazo’ program. “If he has to put me on, he’ll do it in the 80th minute.”
