According to Goal’s Nizaar Kinsella, Chelsea will likely consider Villareal winger Samuel Chukwueze as a cheaper alternative to Jadon Sancho.
The Nigerian international was linked with a £30 million move to Liverpool in January but no formal approach was made by the Premier League leaders.
Chelsea are believed to be looking at cheaper alternatives to Jadon Sancho with Borussia Dortmund demanding a £100 million transfer fee for the England international.
Meanwhile, Chukwueze has admitted in the past that he is a fan of Chelsea.
“My favourite team in England is Chelsea,” Chukwueze said.
“I was supporting Chelsea when I was young. When Chelsea lost that Champions League final against Manchester United (2007/08), I was crying all through the night.”
