According to Monchengladbach-based outlet, Gladbach Live, report that Chelsea are willing to offer Andreas Christensen for Borussia’s defender Matthias Ginter.
However, The Blues are also ready to add some cash, ‘possibly in double digits’, to the offer.
Ginter is regarded as one of the best central defenders in Bundesliga and Sky Sports previously reported that Chelsea will compete against Arsenal and Inter Milan for the 26-year-old’s signature.
Ginter’s contract with the German club ends in 2021, so it’s the perfect time for them to try to earn some cash from his outgoing transfer.
A good relationship between the Blues and Borussia M’gladbach as well as Christensen’s previous history at the German club might help in advancing the deal, according to the report.
The German international made 36 appearances for the German outfit in the 2019/20 season, scored one goal and provided two assists.
