REPORT: Chelsea to hijack another £40m-rated Liverpool’s transfer target as Rudiger replacement

Chelsea have been so active in this transfer market as the Blues have already completed the signing of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner as the two duo already training at Cobham ahead of next season.

However, Chelsea hijack the signing of Timo Werner from Liverpool after agreeing to pay his release clause.

Meanwhile, according to The Sun,  Chelsea are ready to hijack Liverpool’s transfer target for Brighton defender Ben White and ditch Antonio Rudiger in the process.

However, reports claims that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp wanted the 22-year-old as back-up to Virgil van Dijk after losing Dejan Lovren this summer.

But Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is desperate for defensive reinforcements and will go higher than the £20million Liverpool wants to pay as the blues close to HIJACK the deal.

However, Liverpool have cut back on their spending after blowing £280m in 2018 alone.

That gives Lamps the chance to get his man. Rudiger, 27, could go back to Germany after a series of defensive howlers, including in the FA Cup final defeat to Arsenal.
