REPORT: Sevilla interested in Chelsea midfielder who is keen on leaving Stamford Bridge in summer

According to France Football, Spanish club Sevilla are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko in the next transfer window

However, The 25 year old midfielder was arguably one of AS Monaco’s best players in the now-cancelled Ligue 1 season but they won’t take up their €42m buy-option, partly due to the coronavirus pandemic, and also due to the club’s failure to secure Champions League football next season.

Sevilla reportedly want Bakayoko to replace long-serving midfielder Ever Banega, who is leaving the club at the end of the season for Al-Shabab.

The La Liga is currently on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic and the report claims Sevilla will make a move for Bakayoko once they are assured of European football next season.

However, it isn’t known whether Sevilla want a temporary or permanent deal for Bakayoko but the Blues will be reluctant to let the midfielder leave on another loan deal.

Bakayoko has two more years left on his Chelsea contract and the Blues are keen on offloading the 25 year old midfielder. French champions Paris Saint-Germain are also reportedly interested in signing Bakayoko.
