REVEALED: Why Lampard may have to sell Jorginho and Kante

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard may have to sell Chelsea midfielders N’Golo Kante and Jorginho this summer, after splashing the cash on Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner.

According to The Sun, this is because of Chelsea’s ‘one in, one out’ policy this summer, which means every purchase must be matched by a sale.

The Chelsea board believe the Blues have lost ground on our rivals due to last summer’s transfer ban and appear more determined to back Lampard in the transfer market but the board are still attempting to claw back the expenditure so far this season through outgoings.

It is believed the emergence of Billy Gilmour and the return to full fitness of Ruben Loftus-Cheek may see Lampard sanction the sale of Jorginho and Kante.

It is believed Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus may submit bids for Kante and Jorginho respectively this summer.
