Rudiger sends ‘strong warning’ to Lampard ahead of January transfer window

Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has featured in just five matches for Chelsea so far this season.

He has played in just one Premier League match so far this season, the 2-0 win at Newcastle United last month, and has been an unused substitute eight times and left out the squad entirely four times.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has preferred the centre-back partnership of Kurt Zouma and Thiago Silva.

Rudiger has admitted he ‘isn’t satisfied’ with his current situation at Chelsea but insists he won’t look for a transfer away in January.

“I can’t be satisfied with my situation, but the fight has been accepted,” he told ZDF. “What will happen in January is a long way off. I’m complete relaxed.”
