Sarri on Hazard’s Future: ‘He can win everything, also the Ballon d’Or, here in Chelsea’

The boss believes Eden doesn’t need to quit Chelsea to win the Ballon d’Or
The Belgian international is still to extend his current deal with the Blues which expires in 2020
Last week, Hazard revealed a move to Real Madrid is his childhood dream
“It will be very important for us if he remains. I think also that he can win everything, also the Ballon d’Or, here,” Sarri told Sky Sports when asked about Hazard’s future.

“For example, if Chelsea will be able to win the Champions League and the Belgium national team will be able to win the European cup (Championships), he will be able to win everything – without playing in Spain.”

Hazard’s current Chelsea deal is worth £220,000 per week and it expires in the summer of 2020. As it was reported by the Daly Mail earlier today, the Blues plan to open contract negotiations with the 27-year-old in November. Chelsea are expected to offer the striker a salary in excess of £300,000.

The Chelsea ace is showing probably his best form since moving from the Ligue 1 side, LOSC Lille, in 2012. At the moment, the Belgium international tops Premier League’s scoring charts as he managed to add seven goals to his record for Chelsea after the gameweek 8.
