Their appeal is set for November 20th and if they do manage to get the appeal overturned, then there are some reports in the media which have claimed that Lampard will be handed funds.

Which were raised by the £130 million sales of players during the summer window, in order to try and add a few more players to the shopping list.

And according to the Daily Express website, Frank Lampard will reportedly try and sanction a £300 million deal to try and secure a deal for the very impressive Wilson, who has been linked with a move to the Bridge since last season.

The Bournemouth forward has scored 19 Premier League goals since the start of last season, and is now a regular in Gareth Southgate’s England squads.

However, reports goes on to say that Wilson could also be chosen as a replacement for the unsettled Olivier Giroud, who is said to be nearing a winter move to Inter Milan.

The Frenchman is not happy with the kind of game time that he has been receiving under Frank Lampard this season and is reportedly ready to jump ship in order to get the kind of minutes on the pitch that he feels he deserves.

Chelsea have a good thing going right now and just need to add some more strength in depth to the side, so even though a big time striker would probably add some experience to the side, signing Wilson could be a smart move by Lampard.
