Sorry Man United as £100 million opens door to Chelsea move with a move “back home to London” wanted

Chelsea have been handed a transfer boost as Jadon Sancho reportedly prefers a move “back home to London” – putting a £100million Manchester United deal in doubt.

Sancho is easily regarded as one of the finest talents in the game right now and has been constantly linked with a move to the Premier League during the summer transfer window after another impressive season in the Bundesliga.

Not only has he already hit double figures with goals and assists this season for Dortmund, but he has become the youngest player in the German League history to reach the 25-goal mark.

Now it seems that Chelsea are full in the race to sign Sancho in the summer, after reports on the SUN website claimed that Sancho would much prefer a move to London rather than back up Manchester. The Blues’ fight to land the 20-year-old is boosted by the fact he grew up in Kennington, London and was a boyhood fan of the West London club.

Callum Hudson-Odoi recently chipped in and got transfer headlines going crazy after he told his England team-mate that he would love it if he made the move to Chelsea:: “Me and Sancho are mad close, we talk every other day, always seeing how each other are and how we’re doing,” the Chelsea forward revealed on Instagram.

“We make sure that we’re both doing well, obviously he’s doing amazing and having a great season. Obviously, he’s a great player, I love playing with him – he’s a great player to play with.

“The way we play with each other we just know where each other is on the pitch every time and we just love to play with each other. I don’t know [if he will come]. Of course, I would love it if he came to Chelsea.”
