Thiago Silva reveals one ‘Important’ trophy he wants to win at Chelsea this season

The Blues has been blessed with one of the best defender in the Thiago Silva

However, Chelsea new defender and captain Thiago Silva may have a lot of trophies in his cabinet, but the Brazilian is still keen on winning more.

He has been successful with the Brazil national team, as he was won the Confederations Cup in 2013 and the Copa America in 2019 with the Selecao.

He won the Serie A and the Italian Super Cup with AC Milan, before clearing every domestic title during his eight-year stay with French giants Paris Saint-Germain. The Champions League is the biggest trophy he’s yet to win and he captained PSG to the final last season, which they lost to Bayern Munich.

Thiago Silva has now revealed that he is keen to win the Champions League with Chelsea and also has eyes set on winning the Premier League, as he also mentioned the Cups in England.

Silva said: “At Milan I won Serie A and the Italian Super Cup, and at PSG I won basically everything possible, except the Champions League, we reached the final.

“With Chelsea my main objective is the Premier League, of course. It’d be a dream come true to win it and there’s no doubt we’re looking at winning the Champions League and the cups as well, so it’s a matter of working.

“I think Chelsea aren’t just 11 players, they’ve got a group of 22 players who have what it takes to go far in all competitions.”
