‘This isn’t what I dreamed of’ Inter Milan star tells Chelsea he could move on in January window

Long-term Chelsea target Christian Eriksen has admitted he will consider his future when the transfer window opens in January.

After establishing himself as one of the most creative midfielders in the Premier League, Eriksen made the transfer move to Milan in hope of becoming that world class player he had ambitions to be.

However, since his move to Milan, he has not become the calming playmaker that the Italian giants had hoped he could be, and has struggled to get into Antonio Conte’s starting line-up, which has led to all sorts of speculation in the coming days.

The latest rumours have suggested that he has been linked to all the big clubs in the transfer window, even Chelsea, who have just spent loads of cash improving that midfield, but may look to spend more in the January window

Eriksen can put his Inter woes to the back of his mind for the moment, as he is on international duty with Denmark, but he has admitted things have not gone to plan in Milan and that he could look to move on in January

“This isn’t what I dreamed of,” Eriksen told TV2. “All players want to play as much as possible, but the coach decides who gets to go on the pitch.

“It is a strange situation, as the fans want to see me playing more and so would I, but the coach has different ideas and as a player I have to respect that.”

“I am concentrating on my football, then when the transfer window opens we will see if something will happen or not,”
