‘Top Talent’ ‘Ice In His Veins’ Fans Echo Lampard’s Words That Chelsea Starlet Was The ‘Best Player On The Pitch’ Versus Hull

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard was in his praise of midfielder Billy Gilmour following his substitute appearance against Hull City in the FA Cup last night.

The Scotland Under 21 international was calm and composed on the ball when he came onto the pitch, and the Blues boss thought he showed everyone what he was truly capable of:

“I thought Billy Gilmour was the best player on the pitch for the period of time that he was on the pitch. So I absolutely trust him. He came on, passed it, moved it, simple passes through the lines. Had little bits of contact and I trusted them to come on and do the job.”

Chelsea fans are so much excited about the boss comments on the wonder-kid read below:

Top Talent??? — it’s Chelsea ting (@Talented1ones): Ice in his veins

— The Name’s Lee (@DanielSenator): His intelligence and passing ability is already one of the best in Chelsea no debate, — LP7Loftus (@Lp7Le): Solid player, needs a great loan to gain playing time.

— Joe DeLuca (@joeyluca88): He was ace, but not as much as they hype it up to be. A lot to learn, — Darren Carlson (@darrenxxcarlson): Maybe he should have started.
