Tottenham Made A Shocking Bid For Chelsea Striker Before The Close Of The Transfer Window

Reports have claimed that Tottenham made a move to sign Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham in the final hours of the summer transfer window.

Abraham spent last season on loan at Swansea, scoring eight goals in all competitions, and the 20-year-old’s performances caught the attention of Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.

Spurs did not make any signing during the summer transfer window, although Pochettino was on the hunt for attacking reinforcements to support his star striker, Harry Kane.

Goal claim that Spurs lodged a £25million bid for Abraham on deadline day – but the offer was immediately rejected.

Sarri opted not to send Abraham out on another loan spell, and the youngster will fight for a place in the team behind Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud.
