Two former Blues combined on the World stage to score for Belgium against Brazil on Friday evening, and what a goal it was.
With Eden Hazard and Willian running the channels for Belgium and Brazil respectively, we were hoping for some Chelsea involvement on the scoresheet. It is, however, those who used to play for us who are making the difference for their country.
Ex-Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku picked the ball up in midfield, drove at the Brazil defence and laid the ball off to Kevin De Bruyne. The ex-Chelsea midfielder struck a beautiful drive into the bottom corner of Chelsea target Alisson Becker.
