(VIDEO): Tammy Abraham sends ‘massive’ message to Chelsea new boy Hakim Ziyech ahead of his Chelsea move

Tammy Abraham has sent a massive message to Hakim Ziyech as the new man set to join Frank Lampard’s squad on July 1.

“Hi Hakim, it’s Tammy here,” the striker said in a video for NOS Sport. “I just want to wish you all the best for the rest of the season. Can’t wait for you to come and join us. You know I’m ready, man. Can’t wait to see you, bro. Take care.”

The Moroccan’s former teammates Frenkie de Jong and Matthijs de Ligt as well as former Blue Khalid Boulahrouz also feature in the video.

Chelsea completed the transfer of Ziyech from Ajax for €40m potentially rising to €44m. As the Eredivisie officially terminated their season, the 27-year-old will play his next game in Blue. The attacker is set to join Frank Lampard’s squad on July 1.

Ziyech has been sensational for Ajax. Since joining the team in August 2016 in an €11m move from Twente, Hakim has scored 48 goals and provided ridiculous 82 assists in 165 games.

Last term, the Moroccan has won a well-deserved Eredivisie Player of the Year award, led de Godenzonen to a domestic double and reached the Champions League semi-final with the team.

Since the beginning of the 2018/19 campaign, Ziyech has scored 29 goals and registered 45 assists in 84 games across all competitions, including 8 goals and 21 assists in 35 matches this season.
