The first half of Chelsea’s FA Cup tie against Manchester United was rather petering out after a bright start.
A series of long injury breaks towards the end of the 45 minutes really broke up the momentum which Chelsea had generated.
But in the 11th minute of injury time, Cesar Azpilicueta broke free down the right and was able to sneak a perfect cross back into the United box.
As he so often manages to do, Olivier Giroud lost his man in the middle and flicked the ball towards goal. David De Gea couldn’t stop it, and the Blues now lead with 45 minutes to play.
