Willian makes final decision on his future at Chelsea after heavy defeat to Bayern Munich

Chelsea winger Willian was a second-half substitute as the Blues were beaten by Bayern Munich 3-0 at the Bridge on Tuesday night.

The Brazilian had a bright start to the season, but his form has dipped lately as he has made 34 appearances for Chelsea this season, scoring five goals and registering five assists.

The 31-year-old is in his 7th season at the club and is keen to remain in London, but wants three more years while Chelsea are only willing to offer him two extra years.

“Chelsea offered me two years, and they are not going to change what they offered,” Willian told Esporte Interativo after Chelsea’s defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.

“I said I wanted three more years. The situation is difficult because of this, I really don’t know if it will be possible.

“My goal is to continue working and focus on this remainder of the season, so that Chelsea can continue winning the games for the remainder of the season.

“I have a clear head and focused for the rest of the season that we have left.”
