Cesar Azpilicueta had given Chelsea the lead just after 10 minutes but a late Jahanbakhsh’s stunning goal in the 83rd minute denied Chelsea the victory.
Mason Mount started the game but had to be taken off later in the second half for Mateo Kovacic.
Chelsea fans have slammed Mount’s performance as he had an off day against the Seagulls.
