‘At Chelsea, I won Premier League in first year!’: Conte slams Klopp and Guardiola

Former Chelsea manager and now Inter Milan’s head coach Antonio Conte has recalled his debut season at Stamford Bridge aiming a slight dig at Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola.

The Italian reminded that he had managed to attain instant Premier League success in his first season in England.

However, Liverpool boss is yet to lift a domestic trophy with the Reds and Guardiola had to adapt to English football for a year without a single piece of silverware.

“At Chelsea, I won the Premier League in the first year and the FA Cup in the second year,” he said as quoted by Goal.

“Klopp hasn’t won anything yet in England after four years and Guardiola didn’t win anything in his first year.”

That’s actually true but Conte obviously forgot to mention he was sacked from Chelsea for finishing fifth in the Premier League and missing out on the Champions League qualification.
