They may now be rivals, but Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Chelsea new boy Christian Pulisic were previously team-mates at Borussia Dortmund.

And the Arsenal striker has wished the USA international “all the best” for his time at Chelsea, after he completed his move to the west London club after five years in the Bundesliga.

The two players played alongside each other in Germany, prior to Aubameyang’s move to Arsenal in January 2018, but will now line up against each other in the Premier League next season.

Pulisic arrived in west London this week, having signed for Chelsea in a £58m deal in January, only to be loaned back to Dortmund for the rest of the season.

He has now met with Chelsea staff and his new team-mates ahead of the Europa League final against Arsenal, which he is unable to play in.

And Aubameyang, who is set to line up against Pulisic’s new side in Baku next week, has sent a message to his former team-mate welcoming him to England.
