Batshuayi set to leave Chelsea in January if he fails to make it into Chelsea starting XI
Michy Batshuayi is determined to stay at Chelsea and fight for the starting Xi place at least until January, according to a claim made by the British outlet Evening Standard.
Come the next transfer window, the Belgian will reevaluate his position within the squad.
If Lampard still doesn’t count on him, Batshuayi will ask for a transfer in January.
The Belgium striker scored twice and gave an assist yesterday while playing for the development Chelsea squad in Premier League 2.
So far Frank Lampard avoided to select him for the PL games – Batshuayi did not even make it onto the bench against both Man United an Leicester City.
He is currently behind Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud in the pecking order. Bats wants a regular football to make into Belgium national squad for the Euro 2020.
