BREAKING: Chelsea make transfer decision on Edinson Cavani with striker set to leave PSG

Chelsea target Edinson Cavani is set to leave PSG this summer after Paris Saint-Germain chief Leonardo confirmed the Uruguayan striker won’t be offered a new contract.

Chelsea tried to sign the 33 year old striker in January and have now made a decision on the striker ahead of the summer transfer window.

According to Football London, Chelsea will not try to sign Cavani, despite monitoring the striker for the majority of the season.

Lampard is said to be put off by Cavani’s £360,000-a-week wage demand, especially for a forward who is 33 years old.

With the Blues on the verge of completing the signing of RB Leipzig attacker Timo Werner, making a move for Cavani doesn’t make any sense.
