Chelsea FC legend reacts to Eden Hazard’s display in 3-2 win over Arsenal

Mario Melchiot hailed Eden Hazard’s impact from the bench in Chelsea FC’s 3-2 win against Arsenal on Saturday evening.

The Blues forward was named on the bench for the second successive season as Maurizio Sarri persisted with the same starting XI that won 3-0 at Huddersfield Town last weekend.

Chelsea FC eased into a 2-0 lead courtesy of goals from Pedro Rodriguez and Alvaro Morata to put the home side in command of the London derby at Stamford Bridge.

However, Arsenal came roaring back thanks to Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s first goal of the season before Alex Iwobi levelled before half-time to get Unai Emery’s team back in the derby clash.

Hazard came off the bench midway through the second half and the Belgium international burst into the box before he teed up Marcos Alonso to score an 81st minute winner.

Former Chelsea FC defender Melchiot lavished praise on Hazard for his impressive cameo against Arsenal.

Melchiot wrote on Twitter: “Hazard hazard @hazardeden10 No need to say more.
#mmlove #cfc”

Chelsea FC have a 100 per cent record under Sarri in the Premier League so far after scoring six goals in victories over Huddersfield Town and Arsenal.

The Blues lost 2-0 to Manchester City in the Community Shield at Wembley to lose their first competitive clash under the Italian coach.
