Chelsea have won the race after ‘reaching agreement’ to sign £30 million-rated Liverpool target

Chelsea may have beaten Liverpool to another signing this summer with reports claiming they’ve reached an agreement with Trabzonspor to sign goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir.

Kepa is the world most expensive stopper after Chelsea decided to fork out for his services once Thibaut Courtois finally got his move to Real Madrid just a couple of transfer windows ago.

The Spaniard has not been amazing, but he has been solid between the sticks since his move to Chelsea, and there hasnt been many in the media that have doubted that he could be the clubs number one for many seasons.

However, there has been some reports in the media which have suggested that Frank Lampard has asked the Chelsea hierarchy to get rid of Kepa during the summer transfer window, as he has not been impressed and wants to bring in a more established stopper for next season.

Now Turkish outlet Haber365 reports that Cakir’s club has agreed to sell him to Chelsea, and the report states Chelsea will pay around £30million (€33m) for the 24-year-old, which would be a record-breaking sale by a Super Lig club.
