Chelsea On The Verge Of Agreeing €60m Deal For Liverpool Target, Officials In London

Chelsea have tabled a £52m bid for Brazilian and Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker, this is according to Italian journalist David Moresco.

Thibaut Courtois has continued to be linked with a move to Real Madrid and it appears as though the Blues are resigned to selling the Belgian shot-stopper. Chelsea will not sell Courtois without signing a top-notch replacement for him and they have sight their sight on Becker.

However, Chelsea are not the only club pushing to sign the Brazilian, Real Madrid, Paris Saint Germain and Liverpool are heavily linked with a move for the player but Chelsea are now front-runners for his signature, after making an offer for him.

Moresco claimed that Allison’s representatives are expected in London today to trash out a deal with Chelsea. This would have come as a massive blow for Liverpool who are disappointed with the poor show-off of Karius in the Champions league final and are looking to replace him with Alisson.

Alisson kept an impressive 22 clean sheets for Roma last season for Roma last season and they will milk as much as they can for him. He is valued at £70million which is still above the Blues’ offer for him.

Roma chief Monchi does not expect the Alisson to leave this season but he might to be able to resist the offer of the Premier league club.
