Head coach of the Nigerian national team, Gernot Rohr has named the Super Eagles final 23-man squad ahead of the World Cup in Russia.
The German tactician trimmed the squad to 25 before the friendly match with the Three Lions on Saturday evening, leaving him with the decision to cut two more players.
Chelsea full-back Ola Aina, who was on loan at Hull City, and Bursaspor’s Mikel Agu were the two players dropped from the final squad by coach Gernot Rohr.
The Super Eagles are in Group D along with Argentina, Iceland, and Croatia.
