According to repots, Chelsea are reportedly close to signing veteran centre back Thiago Silva on a free transfer, as per multiple sources.
However, Manchester City have reportedly given them something else to think about by offering them their England international centre back, John Stones.

City are offering the 26-year old former Everton man to Chelsea for just £20 million.
The report claims that Frank Lampard is keen to see Thiago Silva and John Stones become the Blues’ new centre-back pairing.
At the moment though, Stones’ high wages could prove to be the stumbling block in this potential move.
