Chelsea star N’Golo Kante has been linked with a transfer away from the club.
The France midfielder is our best player now that Eden Hazard is gone, meaning an endless series of dodgy transfer rumours is going to come our way every window from now on.
This time it’s the Daily Mail, reporting that the midfielder is a target for Maurizio Sarri’s Juventus.
The Italian club are claimed to think that a £70m bid is enough to prise him away from the Blues, which is frankly laughable.
There are plenty of fans who would turn down double that.
Let’s ignore the fact that Juventus’ team is totally stacked with talent, and they actually had trouble moving on some of their players this summer.
Kante is a world class player at his peak age, why on Earth would we be interested in selling him not long after Eden Hazard forced his way out?
It’s a mad rumour and unless Kante has a mysterious burning desire to go and play with Maurizio Sarri again, it’s not feasible.
