Louis van Gaal reveals why Hakim Ziyech a special player for Chelsea
Former Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has hailed new Chelsea midfielder Hakim Ziyech as a special player.
The Moroccan international is yet to make his Chelsea debut since joining from Dutch giants Ajax due to injury.
He is now fit and could make his Chelsea debut against Southampton on October 17.
“He has developed tremendously at Ajax,” Louis van Gaal told NOS of Hakim Ziyech. “Not so much in creativity, but as a team player.
“The public has come to realise that he works very hard for a creative player. And then he also scores goals and gives assists. That makes you a special player.”
