Official: Chelsea get home draw in FA Cup third round

Chelsea will begin our quest for FA Cup glory with a game against Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge.

The third-round draw was made this evening, with the Blues paired to play against the Championship side at the Bridge.

Chelsea have won the FA Cup eight times, and the most recent win came in 2018 under Antonio Conte.

The Blues have a good record against Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup and have been drawn against Forest in the FA Cup four times in total and have progressed on each occasion. Chelsea won 3-0 in the fourth round in 2007 and 2-0 at the same stage in 2000. In both of those seasons we went on to lift the trophy.

The third round ties take place between 4-5 January.
