Timo Werner appears to be an all but confirmed Chelsea player. However, The Blues have emerged as the frontrunners for the Germany international of late and his move to Stamford Bridge looks to be a question of when rather than if.
Now even RB Leipzig’s official Twitter admin had dropped a strong hint on the 24-year-old’s exit this summer.
The Red Bulls defeated Hoffenheim 2-0 on Friday and the admin reminded all Premier League fans that Werner still belongs to Leipzig and but he couldn’t resist teasing Timo’s move to England.
“To clarify for all Premier League fans: Yes, Timo Werner is playing,” he posted alongside a GIF of the striker apparently saying goodbye to Leipzig.
He will soon be announced Chelsea fans!
